New Addition to the Blog: Hairstyles
I'm super excited about this post. As many of you may know, I have been tapping into the field of hairstyling. I really enjoy creating fun looks on myself and even more on others. Jaday and I have been working on hairstyling for photo shoots and weddings for over a year now. So we have decided to add a new page to the blog where you will find a collection of our work. The page is divided into three sections:

Less is more- Bridal Makeup
I wanted to share with you some photographs of a wedding we had the pleasure of working on recently. I love being a part of a bride's special day. I realize the immense responsibility we have to ensure that the bride not only looks beautiful, but that she feels at ease and relaxed while being pampered by us. It's important to listen to the bride and work with her vision, after all, most women have been dreaming of this day since they were little girls. In this case, the bride wanted to look as natural as possible, she had never worn makeup before and was really nervous. Sometimes less is more, and this is the perfect example of that. I gladly created this soft look, enhancing her natural beauty while at the same time keeping the makeup natural. I will never forget her face when she saw herself in the mirror!

Avant Garde Photo-shoot: Femininity VS Masculinity
The past two years I have been assisting Jaday in photo-shoots
working with creative photographers and stylists. I enjoy preparing
for the shoots and seeing their mood boards turn into reality right before my eyes. So last winter break I decided to do another photo-shoot. This shoot is completely different compared to my previous one: Frilly, Dreamy, Vintage, and Sweet
Yes this is a DRAMATIC look. I enjoy applying makeup as a form of expression rather than just the beauty aspect of it. It's liberating to grab a brush and know you have no restrictions, limitations, or boundaries....
This is my favorite picture from the shoot. |
