Hi Ladies,
Jaday and I have been very busy on the weekends the last couple of months. Even though we are not posting much on the blog, please follow our facebook and instagram! I wanted to share with you the look I did on my friend Valerie. She was going to a wedding and bought a beautiful gown. I wanted her to look like a movie star! Excuse the quality of the pictures, they were taken with my iphone. Hope you like this look! If you are inspired to recreate the look, send a picture to our facebook; we would love to see it. Less is more- Bridal Makeup
I wanted to share with you some photographs of a wedding we had the pleasure of working on recently. I love being a part of a bride's special day. I realize the immense responsibility we have to ensure that the bride not only looks beautiful, but that she feels at ease and relaxed while being pampered by us. It's important to listen to the bride and work with her vision, after all, most women have been dreaming of this day since they were little girls. In this case, the bride wanted to look as natural as possible, she had never worn makeup before and was really nervous. Sometimes less is more, and this is the perfect example of that. I gladly created this soft look, enhancing her natural beauty while at the same time keeping the makeup natural. I will never forget her face when she saw herself in the mirror!

Beauty Makeup for Teens
Hi Girls!
Here is my friend Lisay, she was invited to an anniversary party and wanted to look extra special for the event. Lisay is only sixteen years old and normally doesn't wear a lot of makeup. So I decided to use browns, golds, and a hint of blue to add a bit spunk to this look.

Classic Pinup/ Old Hollywood
This post is a treat for those of you that have emailed and posted comments requesting another Pinup look. I adore the 1950s era, not only for the movies, but for the clothing, makeup and overall style of the time period. This look is my go to look for pretty much any type of fancy or formal event.
The Pinup look is actually one of the fastest looks to achieve and I will show you how to do it in this tutorial.

Featured Bride- Neith G.
This gorgeous bride did not need much to look beautiful on her wedding day. I made her alluring eyes the focal point by using soft golds and browns and a very subtle winged liner. I applied false lashes with a technique that blends them with the natural lashes so that they are not obvious. Shimmery white eyeliner on her waterline was the final touch to make her eyes pop even more.

GC Wedding...Mother of the Bride
For this look, I took my inspiration from the beautiful champagne color dress. The client wanted to emphasize the eyes with a sexy smokey eye. False lashes added the final touch of drama.

Bridesmaid Makeup- Raquel
These pictures are from the Elizabeth's wedding. The bride wanted her bridesmaids to have a smoky eye that had blue in it since the bridesmaids dresses were Tiffany blue. I took into consideration the different eye and face shapes when doing the makeup, therefore they do not all look exactly the same. Thank you Elizabeth for hiring me for your special day. :)

Bridal Look- Natural Lip Color
This is the Classic bridal look. I used my little sister as a model and we had a lot of fun taking all the pictures. We even pulled out my veil.
The makeup can be adjusted to the preferences of the bride to be, but I find that when it comes to Brides, they look much prettier with an enhanced natural look.
